Jeff Luck is Associate Professor of Health Services. He teaches courses in health care information systems, management strategy, and quality improvement. Dr. Luck received his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and his Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis from the RAND Graduate School of Policy Studies.

Dr. Luck is Co-Principal Investigator of the California Health Interview Survey and participates in other projects that analyze and disseminate population health data for management and policy analysis. Dr. Luck's research also addresses applications of new management practices and information systems to improve the quality and efficiency of health care organizations in industrialized and developing countries. He participates in projects developing innovative methods, such as clinical vignettes and standardized patients, to measure the quality of outpatient care.
